Shy, Senior & Special Needs

Sometimes special animals come into our care who, due to overwhelming shyness, old-age or special needs, are difficult to find homes for. In order to ensure these animals get the chance to find a family of their own, we will sponsor them - to approved homes - for their lifetime. There is no adoption fee associated with this arrangement.  While their carer/s will provide and pay for for their ongoing, basic care, we will cover any vet bills for the animal's lifetime, and take them back should circumstances change.

We believe that this arrangement can be mutually beneficial for people with quiet homes who are home often, including individuals with disabilities, retirees and seniors who may not otherwise be able to commit to the care of an animal. This arrangement may also suit pet-friendly aged care facilities, either as pets for individuals, or as facility shared pets. If you feel that you or your workplace can cater for one of our special animals in need of a little extra love, please contact us .

Cas and Maggie are two lovely little house cats looking for a wonderful new home. They are rather shy cats and will need some time and understanding with their new home. Once they come out of their shells they are wonderfully affectionate and real couch potatoes.
